A new CEO for IDATE DigiWorld

Jacques Moulin, will be taking over as head of IDATE DigiWorld on 1 July 2017. He will thus be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer of Sofrecom, a consulting firm that specialises in assisting large corporations in their digital transformation. Deeply passionate about new technologies, after beginning his career at Thomson, Mr Moulin occupied several positions at Orange which allowed him to master of all of the key components of a service company competing on the international stage.

He comes to replace Yves Gassot, who has devoted himself to building the reputation and influence of an original institute that has become a veritable reference in its field, for both the quality of its work and the singularity of its model. A unique model in Europe that combines a team of high-level consultants and analysts who carry out consulting assignments and international watch services on the core issues shaping the sector, and an annual programme designed for a community of more than 60 members (which include many of the digital ecosystems most prominent corporations): monthly Clubs meetings in Paris, London and Brussels, popular conferences (DigiWorld Future and DigiWorld Summit), and highly reputed publications (DigiWorld Yearbook, DigiWorld Economic Journal).

‘I would like to pay tribute to Yves Gassot for the magnificent work he has done. It will be from this bedrock that Jacques Moulin will shepherd our Institute into a new phase of our development. He will have the exciting job of propelling this magnificent team in a new direction, working even more closely with its customers around the globe and in new markets at the heart of the current digital transformation,’ said IDATE DigiWorld Chairman of, François Barrault.
