Emarildo Bani

Emarildo Bani joined IDATE DigiWorld in April 2019 as a consultant in the IDATE Lab. Business Unit.
He participates in publications related to vertical industries’ digital transformation and emerging technologies. His prime areas of focus are Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and the Internet of Things.
Before joining IDATE DigiWorld, Emarildo was an IoT Business Developper at Transatel where he helped the company develop its business in emerging markets such as connected cars and gadgets.
Emarildo obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the American University in Bulgaria in 2015. He arrived in France in September 2016 to complete an MSc. programme in Economics at the Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University. He later graduated with a Masters in Network Industries and Digital Economy from Paris-Dauphine University.

Sabrina Conti

Sabrina CONTI joined IDATE in March 2022 as Director of Studies, after starting her career in different types of structures (services, insurance/mutual insurance, software publisher, etc.) and spending more than 10 years with the ESN Atos.
She holds a DESS (Master) in “Documentary IT”.
With more than 20 years of experience in IT, in the service of the transformation of Information Systems, Sabrina has developed an expertise in the accompaniment of digital projects, in particular for Local Authorities. Sabrina’s career was initially in the field of dematerialisation, IT transformation and then in the world of innovation (AI, Smart City, IoT…). With a double experience of consulting and operational project management,
Sabrina brings an “innovation” approach to issues, with a good vision of the needs and priorities of the various stakeholders.

Weiqi Han

Weiqi HAN has joined to IDATE Digiworld since November 2018.
As a senior consultant, she is now in charge of analyze the benchmark of XaaS service business model.
Before joining IDATE, Weiqi was strategic marketing manager in Orange and worked as IT consultant at GFI Informatique and Capgemini.

Jean-Luc joined IDATE DigiWorld in September 2017
Jean-Luc is in charge of the IDATE Digiworld Telecom business unit, devoted to media, wireless, fibre, regulatory and industry economics. He is focusing on the main challenges met by telecom and media players, FTTx strategies, regulatory management, telecom-media convergence challenges, new services business modelling and diversification.
He has devoted 20 years to the digital ecosystem’s strategic challenges. Before joining IDATE, Jean-Luc spent five years as strategy manager for French carrier, Bouygues Telecom and, before that, worked in the Telecom department at McKinsey & Company.
Jean-Luc holds an Executive MBA from HEC-Paris and is graduated from the Louvain school of management (Belgium). He has dual French and Belgian nationality.

Sophie Lubrano

Sophie joined IDATE DigiWorld in 2000.
She specialises in the analysis of telecom operators’ commercial and marketing strategies: product range strategies (bundles, content, value-added services, fixed-mobile convergence), pricing strategies, distribution strategies. She also performs demand analysis, including a great many consumer surveys (Use IT programme), and how they align with supply strategies. Sophie also delivers prospective studies on the telecoms sector.
She’s an economist, with a post-graduate degree from ESLSCA (Ecole Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées)..

Carole Manero

Key areas of expertise
Carole joined IDATE DigiWorld in October 2000.
She is today the leader of IDATE DigiWorld Wireless services practice.
Carole has been in charge of monitoring the globe’s mobile markets, and operators and mobile services development particularly in 3G, LTE and now for 5G. She has also become an expert in spectrum management issues and developed expertise in PPDR issues. She contributes actively to H2020 5G PPP projects initiated by the EU Commission (Euro-5G/To-Euro5G and METIS-II).
Before coming to IDATE, Carole worked for the COGEMA’s North American corporate strategy department, where she was involved in several acquisition operations in the nuclear sector.
Carole holds a MS in marketing (EDHEC business school, Lille, 1991). She also holds a Masters in Human Resources and Corporate Management (ESCP, Paris business school, 1992).

Roland Montagne joined IDATE in 1998 and he is now their Principal Analyst. He is in charge of IDATE Consulting and Research activities covering Broadband and FTTx markets. Mr Montagne played a leading role in previous IDATE International studies (in Middle East, Asia and Europe), in particular with FTTH Councils Worldwide. He has delivered several studies on with European broadband rollouts, including annual surveys on broadband access for DGInfSo.
He is a Telecommunications Engineer (ENST Paris, 1994) and received a Master on Electronics (University Paris 6, 1994).

Santiago Remis
Consultant
Santiago joined IDATE DigiWorld in September 2019, within the Media Telecom BU after having completed a master’s in digital economy at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montpellier.
Santiago has strengthened skills in the telecoms and media market. He collaborates in monitoring technical and economic strategies and innovation in the telecom market, in both fixed and wireless technologies, and in the media market. He writes market reports and presents their conclusions.

Samuel Ropert

Samuel has been an IDATE Consultant since early 2007.
He lends his technological expertise in connected devices, including M2M and the Internet of Things to his many assignments. He is IDATE’s lead IOT market expert. His activities focus specifically on technological and marketing innovations. With the vertical development of M2M and IoT markets, Samuel has acquired a detailed knowledge of the different vertical supply chains (including industrial ones), for both market reports and consulting assignments.
Prior to IDATE, Samuel worked as a consultant for NPA Conseil (a French media consulting company).
Samuel graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne. He holds also a Master degree in both Politics from Sciences-Po Rennes and in Physics from the Université de Bretagne-Sud.

Bodanka a rejoint l’IDATE en 1998. Elle est Attachée de Direction du pôle Innovation.
Elle travaille notamment sur le montage administratif des appels d’offres nationaux et internationaux. Elle intervient sur les missions de qualification de prospects et de prise de rendez-vous pour les études. Enfin, elle assure le suivi administratif du pôle (soutien logistique, édition des études multiclients, etc…).
Bodanka est titulaire d’une maîtrise de Langues Etrangères Appliquées Anglais-Italien – Option Affaires et Commerce.
Nathalie Torossian

Nathalie joined IDATE in 1988 and is currently the Digital Territories Division’s Assistant and Executive attaché.
She is in charge of the division’s administrative operations and the administration of its dossiers and reports. Nathalie is also responsible for the administrative aspects of mounting national and international tender dossiers.
Salomé Wilkowsky

Salomé Wilkowsky joined IDATE in 2022. She is a lawyer specialized in telecommunications, new technologies and creative law. Her areas of expertise also include cybersecurity, e-commerce, IT contracts, data protection, entertainment and audiovisual law, intellectual and industrial property and trademark and domain name law.
Salomé holds a Master 2 in Digital Law from the University of Paris Nanterre and is about to graduate from the certificate of aptitude for the legal profession. She has worked at NEXT Avocats in Digital and Creative Law, at FTPA Avocats and Ortega-Medina & Associates (London).
